A Message of Hope to the Patients on the 14th Floor of Nassau Community Medical Center

My brothers and sisters. James, Eugene, Desmond, Lionel, Barbara, Regina and Carol, I cried for you today. Since my discharge I have been in high gear – taking care of finances, being the bad ass business woman I am – all in preparation for all your discharges. However, I am fighting the battle alone on the outside. Since my discharge, this was the first day I wanted to take a drink. My mom is Hell on High Water. The woman aggravates me to no end and is the reason that my Dad is at the bottom of a case of Coors Light every weekend, despite all the metal in his chest from three separate heart attacks.

But she is my Mom. She cleaned my room, did my laundry, prepared everything for me when I got home. Families fight, and my family in particular is very special. Everyone in my household works their ass off, and their biggest fear is my brilliant mind getting shut away in a Mental Institution at the tender age of 38 in spite of my massive potential.

I am going to see Dr. Barris tomorrow before my therapist appointment with Ernie Dixon at New Horizon at 50 Hawthorne Avenue in Valley Stream, New York (the best mental health center in the country if you ask me), to request additional medication. Due to my massive payments in Social Security Benefits because of all my Executive Positions over the past 24 years I do not qualify for any help with medical and drug prescription costs. AARP keeps bugging me, but they denied me because I am not 50 yet, so what the hell AARP? Get the fuck out of my mailbox! Anyway, I fall in the category that most Senior Citizens who worked their ass off all their life and are now being treated as second class citizens.

Fuck that!

At Brightstar Care in 2013, I fought relentlessly for the rights of senior citizens by hiring excellent Home Health Aides for the Owner Don Nickel and his wife Maureen Nickel, did their payroll, and staffed one of the largest retirement homes in Nassau County, New York. We MUST TAKE CARE OF THE ELDERLY. They have riches of the soul and mind more than money, so why the fuck do you take all their shit America? Liberals shut your face already! My parents are taken care of by me and my sister, so why do the elite shove their parents in a retirement home and take all their money? Because they are goddamn sinning scumbags that’s why! They need Jesus. Eh, screw it, they are gonna burn in Hell anyway, I’ll just be laughing from the stars with the lighted flame that’s all.

I just wanted to say that you have hope. I am here on the outside waiting for you all. I will save you all like you saved me. It is my mission. It is God’s mission to help you all, and I will accomplish my task, even if it causes my own death.

I will die for you NUMC. There is no limit to my love for you all, especially Melanie and Kim. You taught me love, you gave me strength, you saved my life.

See you tomorrow Dr. Barris!

Stay tuned.
